Breathe, Live & Smile

As promised today we shall be discussing Little Miss Perfect or better known by her princess name, Cinderella.

I did truly sympathize with Cinderella at the beginning of the movie but just like snow white, they lost me somewhere in the middle.

We all know how the story kicks off, Cinderella’s step mother and sisters maltreat her.

Have those girls and their mother even taken a look at themselves in the mirror? I’m sure if they did then they would have seen how horrid they themselves look.

Indeed a shame that they lacked both outer and inner beauty. Sometimes I ponder on if this was a scheme by Disney to portray how ugly you become when you go out of your way to make people’s life miserable.

Or perhaps like the over thinker I am, I’m reading too much meaning into it.

Anyways luck shines on Cinderella, when she attends a ball at the palace and the prince falls in love with her.

Literal Luck as her fairy godmother appears to her that night and gets her ready for the ball.

Some fairy godmother if you ask me. Like where were you while I was going through h3ll. And now you magically appear to make me look presentable for some prince.

“F off Fairy godmother.” That’s what I would have said, but unfortunately I wasn’t cast as Cinderella.

Now, my biggest issue with this movie is the glass slipper that my dear Cinderella left at the ball.

The Prince paraded the whole town with a glass slipper to find the love of his life.

Like dude, you couldn’t remember how she looked like? I mean you claimed to love this girl yet couldn’t remember the looks of someone who you spent the whole evening with.

And I understand that her fairy godmother made her look pretty and all but the face was still the same. You know what, let me attach a before and after.

How could you not know how she looked like?

If that was in this time and I was to write the ending to that story. Rather than they all lived happily ever after… I would say;

And after a month of being married, Cinderella and the Prince realized that you can’t base a marriage on just shoe size. So they decided to end things and lived happily ever after, Separately!!!

The End.

Quite literally that’s how I would end the book and this edition.

Which Princess Should I do next¿
