Up for discussion today is Princess Belle.

The princess from the Disney movie, Beauty and the Beast.

Belle happened to lead a simple life, she was the daughter of an inventor and the most beautiful girl in town, as that is where she gets her name belle from.

She always believed in her father’s inventions even when others didn’t. Now, speaking of town, there was a hunter by the name Gaston who was very much infatuated with the idea of being with her and not her.

Gaston couldn’t even hold a simple conversation with Belle and wasn’t a fan of her reading books. He instead imagined her as a housewife which Belle dreaded the most but ended up becoming later in the movie.

Belle always longed for something more, something past the ordinary towns life she lived.

Now where am I going with all this¿

Some may say that belle fell in love with a beast but in 2022 a lot of people would beg to differ.

The reason being that we have all seen the Beast’s manor, and we have seen the beast. No one would stay would stay just for the beast.

Let’s not even get started on the comfort, she wouldn’t have to lift a finger as the staffs were always ready to help her out.

So I’m just going to go ahead and say it. Belle would have left the beast if he wasn’t so wealthy.

Belle can be seen as a gold digger. I mean small town girl meets a wealthy guy and a chance to get away from her boring life. Why would she pass up that opportunity¿

Which is why she quickly agreed to trade places with her father in the Beast’s manor.

So in the end, she escapes her life of poverty and ends up with the Beast now turned Prince.

A pretty smart move.
