I’ve come to realize that there is a lot of good advice out there and also a lot of bad ones.
But we rarely take good advice until we have completely gone down the wrong track.
I would say it’s a trait that makes us humans.
That deep rooted stubbornness that would only ever yield advice after you’ve been burned.
Like a child drawn to a flame and although has been warned would never concede until burned.
Another trait that makes us vulnerable is Hope.
And the thing about hope is that it’s like a candle in a dark room, it can never be hidden and a lot of manipulators out there know this.
Think back to the last time you made a decision that you regretted or got scammed into losing your money.
Right before the experience you had been hopeful, despite having that little voice in your head that stopped you from doing it, you still proceeded and thought it was just fear or the usual jitters.
One thing you and I need to get better at, is discerning our emotions so that we won’t ever be vulnerable.
To do this is very simple, next time you get that feeling rather than dismissing it, take a sheet of paper and write down why you might feel this way. It might take a while to actually get to the bottom of it but trust me you will.
And if pressured into making a decision by others then you should automatically know that it’s a wrong decision
Because oftentimes, decisions made in a haste are bad decisions.
The longer you’ve been able to master this practice, the clearer your decisions will be and the less people can prey on your feeling of hope because rather than a light in a dark room waiting for the next predator, you will be able to flip your light on and off at will.
And that is true Power
I hope you liked this edition.
Till next time,
