Asia has always been on my travel bucket list. One of the main reasons I want to visit them is South Korea.
Everything about Asia screams originality, culture and authenticity. From Japan to Korea, I’m always a sucker for their content.
So if you share the same love for Asia as I do, or you enjoy travelling and getting to experience other people’s cultures, then let’s take this ride together.
⦁ Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.

Located on the Northeastern Coast of Vietnam, Ha Long Bay’s signature is its emerald waters and limestone mountains that were formed years ago.
Visiting this location also comes with explorations of caves at the culture of the people that inhabit this location. Trust me, these are lessons that no history class can provide.
Due to several factors, some of the Islands in Ha Long Bay are unaffected by any human presence as no one resides on the Islands.

I recommend taking a tour guide along with you as you explore, most likely a local so you’re sure you’re safe throughout your trip.
For food enthusiasts, Ha Long Bay has you covered with its variety of dishes of freshly flavoured seafood.
Cha Muc which is a grilled chopped squid dish and Bun Be Be which is noodles served with mantis shrimp, you’ll be sure to enjoy your stay. In case you’re feeling a bit conflicted about whether or not you should make this trip; here is a link to a great article where you can read up all about Ha Long Bay and see if it’s for you. https://www.visithalongbay.com/
⦁ Angkor Wat, Cambodia.

This location is a temple complex located in northern Cambodia and stands as one of the largest religious monuments across the globe. It was originally built in the 12th century as a Hindu temple.

The temple is dedicated to Vishnu the Hindu god. There is a theory that says that when Vishnu died, his remains were placed in the central tower so he could still communicate with his royal ancestors. This is a location bustling with a lot of hidden secrets and history, So it’s a must for inquisitive minds like you and me. Angkor Wat is the place to be and a read of this will convince you, https://www.asiahighlights.com/cambodia/angkor-wat/top-reasons-to-visit
⦁ Bangkok, Thailand.

Thailand should be ranked number 1 in locations to party your head off. And as an added benefit, Thailand is one of the cheapest locations to travel in. So if you’re a cheap skate like Mr Krabs but still want to travel the world, Thailand has heard your prayers and beckoned you to come.
Bangkok, which is Thailand’s capital, is a magical city. I mean look at that view, While in Bangkok there are tons of activities you can do; It is famous for its vibrant nightlife and shopping districts for a reason.
While shopping, make sure to grab souvenirs for your loved ones.
⦁ Cu Chi Tunnels, Vietnam.
If you chose to stop at Ho Chi Minh city then seeing these tunnels is a must. Located in Vietnam, the Cu Chi Tunnels is a network of interconnected tunnels which were once used by Vietnam soldiers to set booty traps during the war. If you’re a dedicated student of history and culture then this would be a perfect spot to visit.
For this location, I also advise having a tour guide with you just to help make sure you aren’t doing anything you’re not supposed to.
⦁ Luang Prabang, Laos.

This is a tropical haven. And is much different from other towns that you will visit. Some say this difference is due to its French influence. If you are considering this spot as a romantic retreat for you and your significant other then you have got to take a slow boat ride along the Mekong River.

Trust me when I say this will be an unforgettable experience and will draw you to visit the island once again. Have fun, relax and unwind. You’re on a vacation after all.
⦁ Komodo Island, Indonesia.

Komodo translates to monitor lizard. What makes this Island very distinct from the ones you’ve been to is attributed to its rich coral reefs and also the variety of animal species present on this Island. But not to worry, Komodo Island isn’t deserted like other islands, rather it has a population of over 2 thousand residents.
And you get to see nature’s children; animals like dolphins, komodos [ a bit obvious from its name], sea turtles, dugongs and even whales.
I understand that you may be a bit hesitant to visit this location so here is a little something to help you make the choice. https://www.jtgtravel.com/asia/indonesia/is-komodo-island-worth-visiting/
If you’re an animal lover then you have got to book your ticket there now.
- Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Also another city in Thailand, Chiang Mai is a city in the mountain areas of Northern Thailand.
If you’re looking for a bit of peace and also a feel of the outdoors then this is the destination you’ve been searching for. For people who feel stressed and overwhelmed and need a break from everything else, this retreat would be nice for you. This location is most known for its elephant sanctuaries, rainforest areas and interesting cuisine.

Take some time off work and unwind at this location. Some quiet is necessary.
Feel free to add any of these locations to your bucket list and also explore other locations with me.
