There are several but one I would like to pay attention to is, key players in the game have lost the focus of the game.
And in the world of women’s rights, every woman is a key player.

The average feminist online engages in arguments on whether or not the bill should be split on the first date, if paying for your meal makes you an independent woman and many more trivial topics in light of the other major things that need to be accomplished.
These trivial matters were never what we were advocating for and I see it as a guise to distract us from taking the steps that need to be taken.
And I know someone’s thinking, ‘split cheques come under the umbrella of equal responsibility’ but it’s such a small fraction of things.
I sit back and ask myself, Is that what we are advocating for? A split cheque at the dinner table?
These days feminism is seen as the same thing as Misandry when it’s not.

Feminism is the advocacy of women’s rights based on the equality of sexes not the hate of men.
Every day, the cases of sexual assault are rising with most cases being ill-administered and yet we squabble over trite things. I liken this to a feast being prepared but the guests are scrambling for breadcrumbs.
It is indeed sad the image of feminism that is being portrayed for the younger generation.
Rather than trying to best one another and prove which sex is superior to the other, it would be more beneficial to see things more than it’s us against them.
Recognise that humans in general have all tendencies to act good or bad regardless of their gender identity.
The world isn’t black or white there are also grey areas.
Rather than build fortresses and throw snowballs at one another, a compromise would do us more good than harm because we both coexist together.
Happy International Women’s Day!
