Damsels in distress and knights in 

shinning armours make the perfect 

story. However, I am no damsel in 

distress and I would 

never want to be one. 

But does that mean I don’t get a 

knight in shining armour? 

Yes, I want to be ‘independent’ but I also 

want someone to lean on when things get 

tough. 

I want to face my problems haed strong but 

also have someone to craddle me when it all 

got too much. 

So as I am no damsel in distress,

perhaps there 

isn’t a prince charming for me.
