1. I wish I had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life other’s expected me to live.
2. I wish I hadn’t worked so hard.
3. I wish I had the courage to express my feelings.
4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
5. I wish I had let myself be happier.
I would first like to state that these are not arranged in any specific order but I would like you to ponder on each of them.
Something Jim Rohn always spoke about was how in 5 years or 10 years, you would arrive at a destination. The question was which destination.
So ask yourself and answer honestly,
‘If I keep up my current daily practices by the time I’m ___ years old, which of these regrets would I have?’
And begin to work in the opposite direction. Think of the advice the older version of you would give to the younger you and begin to apply it because once your clock is spent, all that will be left will be your footprint in the sand.
