Breathe, Live & Smile

We secretly sneer at the love we see others enjoy in their relationship
Although we would never admit it
We are jealous.
Jealous that out lover never doted on us like theirs did
Jealous that our friends always had a knife the moment we turned our backs
Jealous that although their lips said loved, their hands reached deep and crushed our souls
Rather than admit this, we sneer at the relationships of others
Holding our head high we tell ourselves,
‘Good Riddance’

I’m certainly guilty of being jealous of other people’s relationships.

Almost everyone has done it at least once in their lives when you see a couple and you internally or even externally scoff at them just because you’re hurt or reminded of the hurt you have been through.

You ask yourself, ‘ Will I ever find love like this?’

Yes. Remembering the hurt and what I have been through certainly does unravel some scars and wounds. Now I know, no relationship or marriage is perfect but there is always room for improvement in every relationship or marriage and that’s where jealousy comes in at when looking and comparing others relationships or marriages to my own.

You are absolutely right when you said no relationship is perfect but there should always be room for improvement that’s how you show you care and respect your partner
