Have you heard of the laws of karma? And what are these laws? The 12 Laws of Karma, are laws that are meant to guide us on how we can live more meaningful lives.

In this first post, we will be covering the first 6 and in tomorrow’s post, we will share the last 6.
Arranged in no particular order.
- The Law of Here and Now:
You can’t be present, if you are always looking backward. When you constantly fixate on what is behind you, you miss the reality of the now and build more regrets for you to look back on rather than focusing on what needs and CAN be changed.
- The Law of Growth :
When we change ourselves, our lives change too. Growth brings about change, so do not be surprised that when you begin to grow, find your voice and stand straight, the people who were used to your wobbly posture and bad posture no longer feel welcome at your table even if the table remains the same and it is the host who has changed.

- The Great law :
Whatever we put in the universe will come back to us. This is the law of karma at its finest. Sow seeds, reap fruits. Sow stones, reap rocks. The air, water, sunlight and soil are available to everyone however what makes the difference is the seeds.
- The Law of Patience and Reward:
The most valuable rewards require persistence. Nothing truly rewarding comes easy and that’s why it’s so rewarding. You’re essentially giving yourself a pat on the back for not just any job but a job well done.
- The Law of Significance and Inspiration:
Rewards are a result of the energy and effort we put into it. Half efforts lead to no results not half results. Success isn’t a respecter of persons, you do what it takes to excel. Exams don’t care if you read since the first day of school or you just opened your notes last night, you show up, you write well and you pass.

- The Law of connection:
The past, present and future are all connected. Essentially everything in life is connected together. Hence why every decision you make no matter how small it is matters immensely.
Closing Remarks
These are just 6 out of the 12 Laws of Karma. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s post as I will be posting the latter 6.
