Breathe, Live & Smile

I love books, always have and always will. So you know this kind of question runs deep.

For me this is office romance trope when I say I love this trope to the moon and back. I never get tired of it especially if it’s seasoned with a grumpy×sunshine troupe, I’m sold.

I’m buying any book that has this trope in it. Because it’s so easy to get it right like you don’t need to do too much. But you need to have enough.

Office romance just makes sense in the book world like the tension, the competitiveness but like I said don’t do too much.

I’m currently reading a book with this troupe and I love it. I was always in love with the British accent but halfway through this book I think I might be switching sides to an Irish accent.

However be that as it may, my love for this troupe ends in books and movies because in real life it will be a nightmare.

Imagine having something with your co-worker or worse your boss, oh you would be a topic of the office for years to come. I tell you, your name will be mentioned in every room even before you step in.

Speculations would be made about your relationships and worst of all, the nasty rumours will spread like wildfire to the point where the truth is so distorted that it doesn’t exist anymore.

You will be accused of seduction and sleeping your way to the top, no one cares if you did as far as it is pleasing to the ear it will spread.

Worst of all, if you eventually break up. Oh God, you will think your colleagues won the lottery and will spare no moment no matter how slight they make a jab at you.

Take it from me who has never experienced any office romance and prays never to, it may look in What’s wrong with secretary Kim? and King the land however real life is a far cry for that.
