Many people believe that you never experience burnouts in an area that you are truly passionate about. Are you also one who holds this beliefs? Read to find out what it truly means.
Oftentimes we are made to believe that once we find our passion, we will be fueled by this inexhaustable pump of motivation from which we will use to arrive athe fiishing line, no breaks, no rests and no stops in between.
For some this holds true while for most this isn’t the truth. Burnouts are a sign that we need rest and to take the passenger seat for a while it doesn’t mean that our dreams are any less or that we have fallen short or anything else the media wants us to believe.

Burnouts occur due to different reasons, one of the most prominmet ones being that when we have a goal in mind, we work ourselves to the bone making sure we achieve that goal. We work and work until we are both physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted.
Naturally burnouts occur and then we fall into this slum where we do not want have the motivation to work. This isn’t a sign that we should quit but instead that there are other areas of our lives that need care. It means we have probably neglected other aspects of our lives like our personal development, mental health, physical health, relationships and we need time to get in touch with all these other aspects that makes us, us.
So rather than quititing all we need to do is to take some off and care for those aspects of our lives or take a break in general and do some self discovery and we will be as good as new.
Burnouts may stem from different causes but they are all indicators of one thing, REST. So try taking a break before you consider giving up on your dreams.
Closing Remarks
Burnouts are indicators that you need rest so take time to get off work and rest.
