I’ll smile once the sun is up
for that’s when the director has
yelled, ‘Action.’
This isn’t my first play so
I know what it takes.
I’m a veteran of some sort.
I understand the script and I’ve
memorized my lines.
I was up all night rehearsing so trust me
when I say,
‘You’ll never see me crack.’
