Merry Christmas!
Even the exclamation did nothing to brighten my mood.
It’s the same Christmas, but it feels different.
Growing up I used to adore Christmas
Now it just seems like any other day.
It’s like the Christmas magic is dull
Or the bells didn’t jingle loudly
Because the carols are no longer catchy
And I’m just waiting for the day to pass.
