You don’t always have to give people the opportunity to explain before you cut them off. Sometimes when someone has treated you so badly you don’t need to ask them why they did it. It doesn’t matter. Their actions spoke louder than any words they could ever string together. 

I’ve always believed that if someone wanted to they would. If they wanted to treat you better, they would. If they wanted to love you, they would. There’s no explanation good enough to justify how they treated you. And you shouldn’t beat yourself up. 

Sometimes instead of seeking of closure, you need to close the chapter yourself.
