You will overcome the discomfort of people not liking you. You will get through people talking bad about you because you set boundaries they don’t like.

The goal in life is not to be liked, it should never be that way. It doesn’t matter if people don’t like you as long as you stay true to yourself. 

It’s why I am firmly planted in my principles, it doesn’t matter if you don’t like me because I am this way. I know why I am this way and why I won’t bend my principles just to coddle you. It might feel uncomfortable now but in the long run I’ll be thankful that I upheld that boundary. I’ll get through these times.
