In a vain world,

where everyone wears a mask and acts

with utmost nobility in the light but

display their greed in the dark. 

In a pretentious world,

where nothing 

goes beyond face value. 

In a greed-filled world,

where the only the language spoken is

take, take and take. 

In a sad world,

where smiles are worn like a badge

and taken off 

at the doorsteps of one’s home.
