Breathe, Live & Smile

I was scrolling through the internet researching some ideas for another blog post when I came across this.

Some crazy Disney coincidences or theories which I thought would be perfect to share so let’s get into it.

The craziest one is the one I would like to tackle first. The theory that captain hook could be the one who murdered Ariel’s mom.

That seems a bit far fetched but let me lay out the facts.

We know that in Ariel’s story she is warned not to go up to sea and to stay clear of pirates as pirates were the ones who murdered her mother.

Well, coincidentally or not, Captain Hook is a pirate and you’re probably wondering that’s not enough to arrive at this conlusion. So here comes the shocking part. The part you and I missed.

There was a mermaid with red hair in the lagoon on Neverland.

Could all the dots be connected or do you think we’re just drawing lines in the sand?

While you ponder on that, the next theory would come as a shock to you.

We all know Mother Gothel and her ‘mother knows best’ song from Tangled. Well, a theory is spun on the survival of the evil queen from Snow white who later goes to lock up Rapunzel in a tower whilst using her hair to live longer.

Here are 2 things that made this theory slightly possible in my books.

One, we know that the Queen is obsessed with looking young and also wants to be the fairest and most beautiful in the land.

What better way to do this than to keep the fairest in the land locked away in a tall tower sheltered from the world.

Another theory which could be close to the truth could be that Nala and Simba are siblings.

Hear me out. From my little experience watching NaGeo Wild channel. The way Lion pride works is we have one lion and several lionesses. We know from the movie that the other cubs have different mothers but.

and a huge BUT.

Could Nala be Mufasa’s daughter?

I don’t know about this one but there could be a possibility right?

Here is another crazy theory and I’m going to need you to sit down for this one because it’s quite wild.

literally.

So there is a theory that Jane from Tarzan is the great-great granddaughter of Beauty and the Beast Belle.

How did we arrive here?

Well when you look at the similarities in their appearances, dressings, their love for wild ‘men’, and here is the icebreaker.

There is a scene in Tarzan that shows Terk with a set of china that looks oddly like mrs. potts from beauty and the beast.

Still think it’s all in our head or could it be fans letting their imagination run wild?

This last theory needs not much speculation as it has been confirmed by the creators themselves. The genie and the merchant at the beginning of Aladdin are indeed the same person.

I always wondered how a genie who was trapped in a lamp for supposedly thousands of years could know references relevant in recent times.

Which of these theories are you most likely to believe?

I really got thinking too after compiling this list. I wondered if they were any other blind spots which I might have missed while watching each animation.

Some of the theories are really crazy and could be possibly true. I love Disney simply for the theories that erupt after each animation release
