I hate the apologizing culture in society. Just because you’ve said sorry doesn’t mean I have to forgive you.
In general I dislike apologies, they seem too shallow for my liking. Because you said 2 words “I’m sorry” doesn’t mean I get to forgive you for what you did.

I’m still allowed to be offended and even tell you that while I’ve heard you, I haven’t forgiven you yet. I shouldn’t be expected to automatically forgive you and everything between us is good again.
Rather than apologize, show through your actions that you are sorry. In my books that goes a long way than just the words.
The entitlement these days when someone issues an apology is scary. Suddenly all is forgiven because they said sorry? Not around here.
I need time to process my feelings and really forgive you not just say it so you feel like a good person.
